I want to express strong gratitude for Discovery Village and their hard work and love. During these past months, having the support of Discovery Village and their staff has been amazing. It is great knowing that I can put my son in a safe, loving, nurturing environment. They have shown such empathetic and strong leadership in ensuring the center stays open while allowing parents to suspend enrollment if they are uncomfortable with attendance.

My son is flourishing in their care. Every time I pick him up, he is happy and engaged. I receive beautifully curated and edited photos each day. They are of such high quality, I feel like we got in a built-in professional photo shoot! Discovery Village also sends home ideas for age appropriate activities; I love learning their curriculum.

Ms. Esmerida has been so loving and careful with my son. For example, she printed his name tags for some bottles where the marker was running thin, and she added a cute emoji to his name. I also love that she encourages his independence. I read in the notes that she lets him feed himself, and several times when I’ve picked him up, she’s been helping him practice standing. These extra details and effort are very much appreciated.

From COVID to protests, the past few months have not been easy for all of us, and it is a blessing to have had Discovery Village. I want to raise my son to be a kind and independent human, and am delighted to have the reggio inspired curriculum to guide him. The past few months have reaffirmed our decision to enroll our son.
