I want to express strong gratitude for Discovery Village and their hard work and love. During these past months, having the support of Discovery Village and their staff has been amazing. It is great knowing that I can put my son in a safe, loving, nurturing environment. They have shown such empathetic and strong leadership in ensuring the center stays open while allowing parents to suspend enrollment if they are uncomfortable with attendance.
My son is flourishing in their care. Every time I pick him up, he is happy and engaged. I receive beautifully curated and edited photos each day. They are of such high quality, I feel like we got in a built-in professional photo shoot! Discovery Village also sends home ideas for age appropriate activities; I love learning their curriculum.
Ms. Esmerida has been so loving and careful with my son. For example, she printed his name tags for some bottles where the marker was running thin, and she added a cute emoji to his name. I also love that she encourages his independence. I read in the notes that she lets him feed himself, and several times when I’ve picked him up, she’s been helping him practice standing. These extra details and effort are very much appreciated.
From COVID to protests, the past few months have not been easy for all of us, and it is a blessing to have had Discovery Village. I want to raise my son to be a kind and independent human, and am delighted to have the reggio inspired curriculum to guide him. The past few months have reaffirmed our decision to enroll our son.

Deciding to have my son start day care for the first time was such a difficult time. Since the beginning Discovery Village has made the whole process such a breeze. Ms. Daria has helped me with the whole process making sure I had all the appropriate paperwork so my son could start as soon as we were ready.
It’s been over a month now since he has started and I couldn’t be happier with the care and how much my son is learning. His teachers Ms. Bianca & Ms. Deborah always let me know of his day and assure me I can check in as much as I’d like too. What a wonderful place for a child to learn and grow! At first, like most parents we wondered if Day care would be the right option. Leaving your little one in the trusted hands of another is as daunting as it can get but our worries were calmed within the first week of seeing the educational and behavioral benefits of DV. Since joining DV, our little one has become very independent, curious and expressive. A typical day include songs, painting, learning new things and playing with others. It helps tremendously that the meals provided are balanced and nutritional. Our son’s classroom teacher Esdrial is particularly amazing. She is very patient and Always has a smile on her face. The same goes for all the staff who never fail to greet you when you walk in. Shira the Director knows every kid by name and is vested in the success of all the children. Highly recommended!

I couldn’t be more pleased with the staff at The Discovery Village. My son has learned so much and I am BEYOND impressed. I would personally recommend them to to anyone seeking day care. They are friendly, loving and very caring. I am grateful to have all the ladies in our lives.

We have been very happy with Discovery Village as our daughter’s day care. The staff is always friendly and greets her by name when I drop her off in the morning which always puts a smile on her face and her classroom teachers are wonderful: patient and kind. My daughter has learned so much in her time there and we are very happy with the emphasis on curriculum, learning, and helping children develop their skills. She loves it so much she often does not want to leave at the end of the day!
